What is the Anusara Immersion?

Would you like to deepen your practice? do you think you might want to teach Anusara Yoga® someday?

The heart of Anusara yoga is the balance of three elements: community, philosophy and alignment. The Anusara Yoga Immersion is designed to carry you straight into this heart to steep in the wisdom of the tradition. This comprehensive training will cover every aspect of Anusara Yoga in detail, including:

• All asanas from the Level 1 and 2 syllabi

• Classical and Anusara yoga philosophy

• All components of the Universal Principles of Alignment™; an elegant set of biomechanical principles to guide you in your practice.

This 108 hour course meets the immersion prerequisites of Anusara Yoga® Certification.

Whether you are a student seeking to further your understanding, a potential teacher, or someone who already teaches yoga, join us for this opportunity to be in great company and drink deeply.

From Last Year's Immersion Grads

Aliosn Alstrom teaches Outer Spiral in Trikonasana "Man, I am so happy I decided to pursue the Immersion. That was one of the richest, most rewarding, and challenging experiences of my life. It's made me even more excited about yoga."

•••

"Thanks again for another magical weekend! I'm so blessed to be able to do this immersion with you and Darcy; thank you for being such a fantastic, bright, and joyous being!"

•••

"...I also wanted to thank both you and Darcy for being such gifted teachers. These last 5 months have been really life changing for me. I feel like not only has my practice changed, but also my commitment to teaching yoga. It is pretty exciting because my students have noticed a change, and there is starting to be a little buzz around (the studio) about Anusara... They know I am taking the Anusara immersion and how much I love it, so they are wanting to learn more about Anusara, too. Every month after we meet I leave feeling so inspired - to practice, to learn more, to teach and step it up to the next level, so to speak.

I wanted to pass on a part of an e-mail I received from one of the instructors that took my class this Tuesday:

'...I really notice changes in your yoga teaching since you've been taking the Anusara Immersion series. Your instructions have so much "dimension" to them! And though you've always seemed to have a lot of confidence in your teaching, it seems to radiate even more from a deep place of knowing and feeling the poses. You have some fabulous new ways of explaining subtle things in the postures that allowed me to feel different things in some familiar poses. It's so awesome!!!'

I have you and Darcy to thank for my new confidence. Thank you so much, I so look forward to every class/workshop and future immersions/teacher trainings with both you and Darcy.
